For preparing semolina dhokla, mix together semolina, maida, oil, sugar, salt and half of the water. Cut into squares and serve with any chutney. Health & tasty, Sooji dhoklas are easy to make. Remove the pan & allow the dhoklas to cool.

Steps to make Colourful Semolina Dhokla:
  1. In a mixing bowl take all ingredients except baking soda,salt and water,mix well and keep it aside for 15 minutes.
  2. Now add rest of the ingredients and mix for 1 minute.
  3. Divide the batter in 3 portions,add green colour in one portion and red colour in another portion and leave third portion as it is.
  4. Grease a pot with oil nicely,firstly pour red mixture then plain mixture and finally pour green mixture.
  5. Take 2 glass of water in a cooker and let it boil,place grease dhokla tin into cooker and steam it for 25 minutes on low to medium flame.
  6. Heat 2 tsp oil in tadka pan,add mustard seeds,curry leaves and chopped green chillies and let them crackle.
  7. Check the dhokla by inserting a toothpick,allow it to cool down and transfer the dhokla carefully in a plate.
  8. Pour tempering over the dhokla nicely and cut into pieces.
