Some grains are actually excellent for fighting off bad moods. Quinoa, millet, teff and barley are all really wonderful for helping increase your happiness levels. They help you feel full also which can truly help to improve your mood. It’s easy to feel depressed when you are starving! These grains can elevate your mood as it’s not at all difficult for your body to digest them. You digest these grains quicker than other foods which can help boost your blood sugar levels, which, in turn, helps make you feel better, mood wise.

Green tea is fantastic for moods. You were sure green tea had to be included in this article, right? Green tea has a lot of an amino acid called L-theanine. Research has found that this amino acid promotes the production of brain waves. This helps focus your mental energy while simultaneously calming your body. You probably already knew how easy it is to get healthy when you drink green tea. And now you are aware that it can help improve your mood also!

As you can see, you don’t need to stuff your face with junk food when you want to feel better! Try several of these instead!
