Eggs, you may be astonished to discover, are wonderful at battling depression. Just make sure that you don’t throw away the egg yolk. When you want to cheer yourself up, the egg yolk is the most vital part of the egg. Eggs, specifically the yolks, are full of B vitamins. The B vitamin family can be terrific for raising your mood. Put together a few trail mix of nuts or seeds. Peanuts, cashews, sunflower seeds, almonds, pumpkin seeds, etc are all terrific for helping to raise your mood. Some grains are actually excellent for driving away bad moods. Barley, millet, quinoa, etc are excellent at helping you have a happier mood. The reason these grains elevate your mood is that they are not difficult for your body to digest.
